The new nose features a thinner bridge that is more refined and smaller tip.  The nose job was done sometime early in Britney's career.  

Following the [[nose job]], Spears had a [[breast augmentation]] in 2000 following the success of her first album.  It is rumored that Spears later removed her implants and replaced them with smaller sized implants in 2005. Spears has also been the target of [[tummy tuck]] and [[liposuction]] rumors.  Spears allegedly visited a liposuction specialist in Las Vegas in early 2007 about getting [[Lipodissolve]], a type of mesotherapy procedure. Mesotherapy is a procedure that is popular in Europe that is aimed at reducing fat and improving the apperance of cellulite through a series of injections with micro needles.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Brad Jacobs, who lost his license to practice practice plastic surgery in 2007, previously offered to give Spears a free mommy makeover complete with a tummy tuck and body contouring as a free Christmas present.  Spears never took up Dr. Jacobs' offer.

Since losing custody of her children, Spears has reportedly gotten [[lip injections]].  Spears was spotted leaving a plastic surgery medical building in Beverly Hills covering her lips.  Photos of Spears show that her her upper lip is unnaturally large and pointing upwards and her lower lips which are normally more subdued have gained volume and definition.  Dr. John Di Saia has said, "Britney Spears seems to have fresh, but well done lip filler here. It always appears a bit funny right after it is done. This is probably just a few days old."

Spears' dramatically thin legs have caused rumors that she has had [[liposuction]].  Pictures of her in November 2007 compared to her pictures in August 2007, reveal that her thighs appear to have lost an inch off their circumference and her calves look slimmer but the top portion of her body looks the same.  A close-up photo of her thigh shows a dent, that could possibly be a liposuction scar.  Plastic Surgeon John Di Sai says that, "Lipo is a hard item upon which to comment.  She seems somewhat into cosmetic work as she gets regular lip injections. Statistically I’d say her possibility of having done Lipo Dissolve and/or more invasive Lipo is fairly high."

After Spears' dramatic weight loss to restore her body to her pre baby days, there was much speculation about the use of liposuction.  However, recent photos of Spears does not show any swelling in her abdomen, a classic sign of liposuction.  Dr. John Saia has said, "It seems more likely to me that she starved herself or used stimulants. The swelling from lipo would still be there. I’d wager she’s had lipo in the past though."

Britney Spears seems to have put an end to her head-shaving, umbrella-wielding antics. But she doesn’t seem to have also stopped having plastic surgery.

At 27, Britney Spears has been the subject of many plastic surgery rumors, including having a nose job, tummy tuck and various liposuction procedures as well as lip injections. But no rumor has been stronger than those surrounding Britney’s breast implants, which have been talked about for years, whether they have been up or downsized. Before starting her Circus tour, Britney was rumored to have said wanted a breast reduction, saying “At the moment I hate them. I want them smaller … I’m tempted to have a breast reduction so I can slink into some amazing stage outfits for my next set of shows. I know they look sexy but sometimes they get in the way.”

Now it seems that Britney may have gone through with her plan for smaller breasts, removing the implants all together, as recent photos (shown here) from her Circus tour seem to indicate.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrrell J. Aston tells Make Me Heal, “Britney Spears has been open about her experience with plastic surgery in the past. It has been speculated that she has undergone several procedure before like Breast Augmentation and Liposuction. However the most recent photographs of Britney Spears show something unexpected, she has a smaller chest. The only way that Ms. Spears would have been able to achieve this look would be with the help of a surgeon. My estimation is that she had her breast implants removed and I think she looks great with this more natural size.”

In recent weeks, Britney has also been photographed with a seeming weight gain, which would help her fill out her slinky costumes and not miss the implants as much.

Online sources are reporting that Britney Spears wants a breast reduction. The sometimes troubled pop diva is quoted as saying, “At the moment I hate them. I want them smaller … I’m tempted to have a breast reduction so I can slink into some amazing stage outfits for my next set of shows. I know they look sexy but sometimes they get in the way.”

Make Me Heal suspects that rather having a breast reduction; Britney wants to have the size of her implants reduced. Britney’s revelation came shortly after she celebrated her 27th birthday wearing a low cut dress that barely covered her assets.

Britney’s love/hate relationship with her breasts may explain why the singer is sometimes said to have breast implants and sometimes not. Perhaps she goes up a size when not on tour and then uses a smaller size or has the implants removed for when she is frequently performing.

Over the years, Britney has been rumored to have several breast augmentations, liposuction procedures, a nose job and tummy tuck.

Tabloids have been reporting that between appearances on the TV show How I Met Your Mother, Britney Spears has lost anywhere from 15-30 pounds in only a few short weeks. Make Me Heal decided to take a look at the evidence of the entertainer’s rapid weight loss and weigh in on the possibility that plastic surgery is behind her makeover.

The former teen idol was well known for her incredible body and when she lost it to pregnancy, critics were harsh on the 26-year old mother. Make Me Heal has previously reported on Britney Spears penchant for plastic surgery, from her rhinoplasty to her breast augmentations to her various liposuction treatments (see Make Me Heal’s stories on Britney Spears’s nose job and Britney Spears’s breast implants and Britney Spears’s liposuctions). In the past, Britney’s rumored weight loss has been attributed to Lipodissolve, a type of mesotherapy procedure. Mesotherapy is a procedure that is popular in Europe that is aimed at reducing fat and improving the appearance of cellulite through a series of injections with micro needles. She has also been rumored to have used laser liposuction procedures such as Smartlipo as well as more invasive lipo procedures.

It is hard to tell from Britney’s appearance on television, but recent pictures of Britney in a bikini do appear to show the pop star restored to her pre-baby glory days, making Make Me Heal think that it is possible that the star may have gotten a cosmetic surgery procedure to speed up her weight loss. After any liposuction procedure, whether it is tumescent liposuction or minimally invasive laser/infrared light liposuction alternatives (i.e. Smartlipo, SmoothShapes, Velasmooth, Velashape, CoolLipo), the area usually swells or otherwise appears inflamed. In Britney’s case, however, there doesn’t appear to be any signs of recent work in Britney’s pictures.

Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says, “It seems more likely to me that she starved herself or used stimulants. The swelling from lipo would still be there. I’d wager she’s had lipo in the past though.”

==Has Britney Spears Gotten Liposuction?==

With Britney Spears sporting dramatically thinner legs than twelve weeks ago, rumors are flying again about her having gotten liposuction or some other plastic surgery.  Some reports have Britney getting a liposuction, while others speculate that the beleaguered singer had a Smartlipo (laser-assisted liposucton) or Lipodissolve, which is a controversial but popular plastic surgery involving fat burning injections.

Britney has been seen in the last two weeks wearing her usual skimpy, thigh-bearing skirts, only this time her thighs appear to have lost an inch off their circumference and her calves looked a bit slimmer. The top half of her body, however, looks strangely the same. While exercise and a diet can be attributed to the weight loss, insiders are speculating that the hard partying Britney has opted for a lazy way to lose the extra meat via plastic surgery as opposed to a natural course of action.  Furthermore, a small dent that was captured in a closeup photo of Britney’s thigh could be a liposuction scar.

One report mentions that on the very day that Donda West died from complications from plastic surgery, Britney Spears underwent a cosmetic makeover at the Advanced LipoDissolve Center in Las Vegas. During this visit, Britney was said to have $12,000 head to toe makeover, complete with liposuction on her thighs and buttocks.

Another rumor circling around says that Britney had Smartlipo done with Dr. John Minoli in Las Vegas while she was house hunting with her cousin Alli Sims (learn more about the revolutionary Smartlipo procedure). Ideal for treating small areas of the face, chin, neck, arms, breasts (gynecomastia), thighs, and areas of loose and flabby skin, SmartLipo melts away fat using a high powered laser. A very small cannula (tube) that is approximately 1.0-2.0 millimeters in diameter contains a laser fiber that is inserted into the skin. The cannula is moved back and forth, delivering the laser’s energy to the fat cells, causing them to rupture and easily drain away. As the laser tip comes in contact with the fat cells, the tip literally melts the fat. The laser energy also interacts with the dermis and results in collagen shrinkage – meaning it creates a desirable tightening effect on the area.

A third report rehashes an old rumor that Britney had yet another series of Lipodissolve shots, which the singer was rumored to have back in April of this year (read the full article on Britney Spear’s Lipodissolve procedure). Lipodissolve (also know as Lipolysis, Lipotherapy, Lipo-dissolve, Lipostabil, ThinJection, and Flab Jab), is a controversial procedure in which drug mixtures are injected into patients to destroy fat cells, which then leave the body along with normal waste removal (learn more about the controversial Lipodissolve procedure). Similar in concept to mesotherapy, Lipodissolve claims to remove excess fat in localized areas of the body. Fat deposits that are resistant to exercise and diet, such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, face, and back, are often the primary concerns of those patients seeking this procedure. While some patients may lose up to three inches in circumference, results vary from patient to patient. The drug mixtures used in the procedure, which have yet to be approved by the FDA, are delivered through multiple microinjections into subcutaneous fat. These injections take place over one to three treatment sessions, which are each four to six weeks apart.

Being that Britney has a long list of plastic surgeries in her past, the most recent of which has included lip injections (see full article on Britney Spears’ Lip Injections) and a previous nose job and breast augmentation, having liposuction does not seem too far of a stretch for the singer. However, from photos alone it is difficult to tell if Britney had liposuction or not since exercise alone and dieting could be attributed to the weight loss. Given Britney’s young age, such weight loss can occur with relative ease.

Some friends of Britney are supposedly saying that the singer is so pleased with the liposuction results that she is already saying “Gimme More”. One source hinted that Britney may have a breast augmentation and a lift.

“She wants her perky pre-baby boobs back.”

After seeing some photos from Make Me Heal, plastic surgeon Antony Youn could not make a definitive conclusion on the liposuction rumor.

“It’s difficult to say whether she’s had liposuction based off these photos. Either way, her legs do look a bit thinner in the after photo, and it may be the result of liposuction, but can also be related to getting in better shape and weight loss. The small dent in her buttock may be natural, or it could be a scar from liposuction surgery,“ tells Youn to Make Me Heal.

Plastic surgeon John Di Saia told Make Me Heal that while “Lipo is a hard item upon which to comment,“ he was more open minded about the possibility of liposuction for Britney Spears.

“She seems somewhat into cosmetic work as she gets regular lip injections. Statistically I’d say her possibility of having done Lipo Dissolve and/or more invasive Lipo is fairly high.“

With the jury out on whether Britney had a liposuction procedure over the last two months, we’ll have to be on the lookout for tell-tale signs of surgery, such as lipo scars, unnatural unevenness, or lumpiness on her thighs or other areas she is rumored to have lipo-ed. For now, congratulations are in order to Britney for making a small comeback with her body. If only her musical comeback could be so sweet.

Britney Spears appears to have donned a new set of blown-up lips to celebrate her first outing with her kids since losing custody of her children.

Seen this past Sunday with her two kids and a court-appointed chaperon driving in the San Fernando Valley, Britney sucked on a Starbucks latte while revealing freshly puffed lips that are likely the result of lip injections. A photo of Britney shows her upper lip to be unnaturally large and pointing upwards. Moreover, her lower lips which are normally more subdued have gained volume and definition.  What is likely at hand are Juvederm, Restylane, or Collagen injections.

Plastic surgeon John Di Saia was first to spot the lip injections, noting in his blog “Britney Spears seems to have fresh, but well done lip filler here. It always appears a bit funny right after it is done. This is probably just a few days old.”

Only last week on October 18, papparazi ambushed Britney Spears outside a plastic surgery medical building in Beverly Hills and caught her on tape hiding her lips during the entire the time they were filming her exiting the building parking lot. Putting the two incidents together, it becomes quite apparent that Britney got her lips done last week in time to look pretty for her two children.

Given the string of bad news in Britney’s recent life, there’s nothing wrong with getting a little plastic surgery to pepper up her mood and give her something more to smile about. And it looks like there is a lot more of a smile now than a few weeks ago.

Apparently you can lose a lot of weight, well at least according to pop princess Britney Spears. Her new goal is to drop 3-4 dress sizes in three months. Can she do it? It is yet to be seen, but of course plastic surgery can help, too.

Star Magazine says Britney Spears will get 12 lipodissolve treatments (a type of cellulite/fat reduction procedure), a breast lift, a lower-body lift for her thighs and buttocks, liposuction to get excess fat off her stomach and love handles as well as a brachioplasty (arm lift) to tighten up flab on her arms. She is planning on getting 12 of the $1,500 lipdissolve treatments over a 24-week period. She will spend $8,000 on a breast lift, $12,000 on a lower-body lift for the thighs and buttocks, $16,000 on liposuction for her back, stomach, and love handles, and $6,000 on brachioplasty to tighten up her upper arms. This all comes down to a grand total of $130,000.

Mesotherapy is a procedure that is popular in Europe that is aimed at reducing fat and improving the apperance of cellulite through a series of injections with micro needles.

She may even consult celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Raj Kanodia, the one who did the nose of Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz’s nose, and Ashlee Simpson, for a nose job. Why all the surgery? Britney Spears wants to look as slim and hot as she did before getting pregnant. She may have even already on lipodissolve treatments in Las Vegas while she out there recently.

We wonder about whether this entire story is true, considering that Britney is only 25 and some of these procedures such as brachioplasty and lower body lift are really reserved for morbidly obese patients who cannot lose weight naturally. Britney hardly fits this profile, as with a few months of consistent hard work can lose all the flab that she gained during her pregnancies and hard-partying lifestyle. However, we would not be surprised if Britney did get some liposuction treatments done and a breast lift which is a popular mommy makeover combination.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn also shares in the skepticism about the truth of whether Britney Spears will have all the alleged procedures done, or maybe just some of them.

Dr. Youn writes in his blog, “While this information is from Star Magazine, a “reputable” tabloid, I doubt it is completely accurate. Lower body lifts and brachioplasties would leave her with long scars which could easily be visible depending on the clothes she wears. In addition, while she may have gained some weight recently, this is no reason for her to have these surgeries. They are not for weight loss. Brachioplasty and lower body lifts are usually reserved for people with massive weight loss, such as Star Jones or Newman from Seinfeld.”

Regardless of the combination of procedures that Britney Spears ultimately has, one thing’s for sure. Plastic surgery will not cure her deep-seated psychological problems that can only be healed by doing some deep soul searching, growing up, airing out her dirty laundry with a shrink, and bringing down her lifestyle to reality so she can be a stable mother for her two children. We also think her career and come back efforts should be put on the back burner while she focuses on herself and her babies.

In the latest twist on Britney Spears, rumors are now circulating that Britney Spears had a liposuction called Lipodissolve in Las Vegas Recently. Apparently, Lipodissolve is a trade name for a procedure called mesotherapy.  The Sun, which made the allegations, says that Britney Spears visited a liposuction specialist called the Advanced Lipo Dissolve Center in a bid to melt away some of the fat that has accumulated on her stomach due to her having two children. Her rockstar alcohol-fueled lifestyle of all-night clubbing of the last year has also caused Britney to pack on the pounds and stay away from the gym.

According to plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, a frequent contributor on Make Me Heal and member of the Celebrity Plastic Surgery News Team:

“Lipodissolve is a trade name for a type of mesotherapy. This is a controversial technique pioneered in Europe some 50 years ago which claims to reduce fat and improve cellulite through dozens (sometimes hundreds) of injections with small needles. Non-invasive it is not. To my knowledge, although the technique has been around for a long time, there are no large scale scientific studies which have proven that it actually works. The procedure is also not FDA approved.”

“There are a couple physicians who perform mesotherapy in my area, although none of them are board-certified plastic surgeons. The one who does the most is an ER physician who is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In my practice I have seen probably ten patients who’ve had mesotherapy prior to seeing me, and all but one saw no improvement after over $1000 of treatment and were therefore consulting for liposuction. One patient, a male, did appear to have improvement in the fat below his neck, however. Hopefully Britney will be one of those in whom it actually works…”

Rumors of Britney Spears having had plastic surgery after giving birth, ranging for a tummy tuck and liposuction to fat melting shots like Lipodissolve, have been quickly put to rest with her recent disastrous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Opening this year’s event, and headlining the show with her new single, “Give it to Me” the young mother of two, seemed to do very little in attempt to sculpt her boozing and partying-victimized body back to the sex goddess stamina, she eight years ago moved the nation with. The question is no longer whether Britney ever had plastic surgery to reshape her body after motherhood, but whether going under the knife, sucking out a few pounds, and tightening some loose muscles could have saved Britney’s performance.

Britney’s “mommy tummy”, which is the result of the relaxation of muscles in the abdominal area during pregnancy, highlighted her disastrous performance and many joke the young star had made it “Lard and Clear” that she was unprepared for her segment. A source at the event even stated that she had come off stage yelling, “Oh my God I looked like a fat pig!” Perhaps with a more vigorous diet and exercise regimen this would have been a little less pronounced, but only the artistry of a plastic surgeon could have tightened her loose abs and trimmed off the excess fat and skin hanging off her flanks (love handles), abdomen, and thighs.

For the average woman, Britney’s body shape is actually quite enviable and remarkably fit considering her having two children and her party lifestyle that she keeps. If Britney were to retire from the stage or tame down her performance and not wear navel-bearing clothes, there would be no need for her to have any plastic surgery as she is in good shape. But when it comes to Hollywood, such normal standards disintegrate completely. With Spears’s claim to fame being her one-time rock hard body, trying to reach this past reality may only be achieved with plastic surgery.

Plastic surgeon Anthony Youn was a bit more kind about Britney. “From my standpoint, I thinks she looked good for someone who’s had two children. Sure, her performance was terrible (closer to Ashley Simpson than Milli Vanilli), and she should have worn more clothing, but geez, are some people cruel,” writes Youn in his blog. Speaking of cruel, Simon Cowell spared no one his opinion by stating, “I would have pulled her off the stage no matter the bill. It would have been worth it - no matter the cost - to save any chance she had of resurrecting her career.”

If Britney were to make a conscious effort to restore her body back to those hallowed days when her body was in mint condition, she would likely need to introduce serious exercise and moderation in drinking into her lifestyle. But this would only scratch the surface, as she may likely need some plastic surgery in the form of tummy tuck and muscle tightening. To round off her makeover, liposuction would be needed to sculpt some of the stubborn fat areas.

Plastic surgeon Rob Oliver had a forgiving diagnosis of Britney and a few recommendations.

“She’s got a modest “mommy tummy” which is relaxation of her muscles and fascia of the abdominal wall you get from pregnancy, weight gain/loss, and normal aging. The younger you are and the less weight you gain when you get pregnant, the less of this you tend to see,” writes Oliver in his blog. To restore her ailing body to shape, “she’d need some variation of a tummy tuck with some skin/fat excised, and then some liposuction to tighten the muscle and fascia that became loosened during her pregnancies,” adds Oliver.

Rumors had flown previously about whether the starlet did in fact have a tummy tuck a few months prior to the show.
