Frolicking on a beach in Hawaii, actress Julia Roberts revealed some very un-airbrushed skin in a teeny-weeny polka dot bikini. Looking at photos of the middle aged mom, Make Me Heal wondered if the Pretty Woman actress had had [[liposuction]] plastic surgery to achieve her flat stomach.

On a family vacation, 41-year old Julia chased after her 3 young children: Four-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and 22-month old Henry while showing off the tattoo on her very lower back region.

Such a skimpy bathing suit gave viewers a glimpse at what Julia prefers to keep covered up in her films. On the subject of performing nude, she says, “I won’t do nudity in films. To act with my clothes on is a performance. To act with my clothes off is a documentary.”

Julia’s body looks so good for a mother of 3 children close together that many have wondered if the actress has undergone a [[liposuction]] procedure. Traditional [[liposuction]] can stretch out the bellybutton, leaving it with a larger, droopier appearance, but so can motherhood, making it difficult to tell if Julia’s body is the result of hard work or a skilled surgeon.

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Julia has significant skin tightening on her abdomen compared from previous pictures. There are no apparent incisions to suggest [[abdominoplasty]]. She possibly could have had laser [[liposuction]], such as Smartlipo MPX, which can produce such results. Whatever she did, it worked.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia agrees that it is hard to tell if Julia has had liposuction or not.

He says, “It is possible that she might have had some looking at these pics, but then again she might have just lost weight after pregnancy the old fashioned way. She might be a good tummy tuck candidate with all that loose skin. [[Liposuction]] at this point wouldn’t offer her much. It really doesn’t tighten anything.”

If Julia has had [[liposuction]], it wouldn’t be her first visit to a plastic surgeon. Although the Pretty Woman has always remained evasive on the topic of plastic surgery, many suspect she has used [[Botox]] and fillers to keep her signature smile looking so youthful.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J. Aston says, “I think Julia Roberts looks great in her bikini! She does not appear to have had any surgery either. Julia must have a balanced diet, exercise regimen and good genetics to look so great after 3 children.  Keep up the good work!.”

Plastic surgery or not, Julia should be proud to be a mother of 3 in her middle age years and still able to look amazing in a bikini.

In Julia Robert’s latest film, Duplicity, fans may notice something about the Pretty Woman, she’s not older, she’s better looking, thanks to some careful plastic surgery.

In the February 2004 issue of InTouch, dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank revealed that the secret to Julia’s smile remaining fresh and young may be plastic surgery.

Dr. Frank told the magazine about then 36-year old Julia, “Her lips were always full, but they were asymmetrical and quirky. But now they look symmetrical, and that’s a giveaway that she may have had collagen implants.”

Julia has always remained mysterious has to whether or not she has had plastic surgery, saying, “Whether it’s plastic surgery or running four miles when you get out of bed in the morning…if something makes you happy you should do whatever it is.”

In the same article, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Simon Ourian shared his opinion that Julia had used Botox between her brows.

Now 41, Julia still looks as amazing as ever and has likely continued to use facial fillers and Botox to freshen up and stay looking great.

According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., “Julia Roberts may have had some Botox injected into her crow’s feet and forehead. Her smile lines are also softer, which is possibly due to the use of a facial filler.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden also thinks that Julia’s smile has improved due to some careful plastic surgery. She says, “Julia Roberts may have had some dental surgery to reduce the visibility of her gums when she smiles. Other than that she looks beautiful and young, she may be using Juvederm to keep her lips plump and Botox to keep her forehead smooth.”

On the other hand, Julia’s lips have always been full and she can still show emotion with her eyes and forehead.

As New York plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer notes, “Julia Roberts has always had a huge, beautiful smile. She does have less of a gummy smile in her most recent pictures. Her lips have always been full, so I do not suspect fillers. She has crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles with animation, so I would doubt there is much use of Botox.”

In the past, Julia has been the subject of breast augmentation rumors, especially after appearing with a full bustline in the film Erin Brokovich, for which she received an Academy Award. She has since attributed the full appearance of her breasts in that film to great bras and breast-feeding.

As one of America’s Sweethearts, Julia is certain to continue to charm fans with her signature smile, with or without plastic surgery.
