Ken Doll

This is what Post-opers often call the swelling in the mons pubis area that can follow a Tummy Tuck, thus-named for the swelling's resemblance to the unclothed doll; Barbie's boyfriend's somewhat innacurate anatomy.

MR

This refers to Muscle Repair, often done during abdominoplasty/tummy tuck in order to repair the separation (Diastasis) that often occurs in the muscles post pregnancy or major weight loss.

Dog Ear

The ends of the incision can relax, causing a small triangle of skin to pooch outward, resembling a tiny dog's ear. Dog's ears can be very small and insignificant, or more bothersome aesthetically. In most cases, revisions for dog's ears can be done in the surgeon's office, under local anesthetic. In many cases, these revisions are a nominal expense, or are included as part of the follow-up care after surgery (without additional fees). You may wish to ask your plastic surgeon about their revision policy for such minor complications prior to your procedure.
