As many others who feel similarly, Johansson believes that inner beauty is what counts the most.
In 2007, US Weekly wrote about the possibility of a rhinoplasty for Johansson. Teenage pictures of Johansson show a rather wide bridge with a bulbous tip. More recent pictures show her nose seems more refined, the bridge slimmer, and the tip less bulbous. Closer inspection of pictures show that Johansson's nostrils remained the same and that her bulbous tip is still present. Dr. Nassif has said, "From what I can tell from looking at photos of Ms. Johansson, it doesn’t look as if she has had a rhinoplasty. Overall, her nose looks the same. Make-up applied specifically to certain places on the nose may make it look smaller. Her bridge appears mildly wide, her tip has a “cute” bulbousity to it, and her nostrils flare slightly appear to be the same as per when she was younger (minimal make up on photo) to now. Overall, her nose looks “cute” on her face."

When Maxim Magazine came out with their annual list of the 100 Hottest Women around, Make Me Heal decided to look at their top 10 picks and see who was a natural beauty and who had help from plastic surgery. What we discovered was that many of these women have previous histories on the Make Me Heal celebrity plastic surgery radar.
Maxim’s number one pick, 29-year old Sports Illustrated model Marissa Miller has bizarrely large breasts for such a slight frame, leading Make Me Heal to believe that the American beauty has a breast augmentation. She also has the perfectly tiny nose with a rounded tip that is common for people who have undergone a rhinoplasty. Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia agrees, saying that Marissa has had a nose job, breast implants and a possible breast lift.
2. Scarlett Johansson 23-year old actress Scarlett Johansson is often at the center of speculation as to whether or not she has had breast implants or a nose job. Make Me Heal has always maintained that Scarlett’s nose is real despite allegations of US Weekly that Scarlett has gotten a nose job (read more about Make Me Heal’s analysis of Scarlett Johansson’s nose job rumor), which led to the actress suing the tabloid magazine. However, Make Me Heal has yet to make up its mind about whether Scarlett’s copious breasts are augmented or natural. Eva Longoria Parker 33-year old actress and newlywed Eva Longoria Parker (read about plastic surgery At Eva Longoria’s wedding) appears to be a nearly natural beauty, and has stated she would not have any plastic surgery because of her fear of needles: “It’s not that I’m against people who do it, but I’m terrified of needles,” she told Maxim. “I’ve seen those shows with the operations. The sound of the chisel! Aaah! I almost passed out. No thank you. Egg white omelets, some exercise and some eye cream is fine for now.” The only problem is that it appears that Eva may have gotten some Restylane injections in her lips and possible Botox to smooth out surface wrinkles and lines. 5. Sarah Michelle Gellar 31-year old actress Sarah Michelle Gellar looks as if the only thing that has changed since her days on television’s Buffythe Vampire Slayer is her nose. It no longer has an asymmetrical bulge at the end and is instead much rounder and pleasing to the eye. Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia agrees, saying that the actress looks as if she has had a rhinoplasty since the earlier picture.

Elisha Cuthbert 25-year old actress Elisha Cuthbert is relatively new to the Hollywood scene and so it is hard to determine whether or not this beauty is natural or not, although her full lips could be the result of a lip augmentation, using fillers like Restylane or Juvederm, which tend to be popular with young actresses.
7. Eva Mendes 34-year old actress Eva Mendes appears to be a natural beauty, and at least thus far, is against plastic surgery. She has reportedly said, “No, not for me. That’s a brutal operation. Very invasive. I’m really into the subconscious, you know? I wonder if they can hear the doctors talking about you when you lie there. Because you’re out, but you’re still alive. The new mother may have also had a rhinoplasty (nose job) at some point, but plastic surgeons Dr. John Di Saia and Dr. Anthony Youn both agree with Make Me Heal’s opinion of Christina Aguilera’s overly busty bosom. Lindsay Lohan 21-year old actress and sometimes singer is also a former Disney diva who has breast implants that augmented her by a good one or two cup sizes (read more about Lindsay Lohan’s breast augmentation). Lindsay is rumored to have gotten her first breast augmentation when she turned 17. Some sources say that Lohan subsequently had a second breast augmentation to improve her breasts and achieve a more “natural” look. Responding to these rumors, Lindsay said that she was a late bloomer who happened to develop her chest at 17.
“I developed very late in high school. When I was 16, I still had baby fat. I didn’t get my chest until I was 17, so that made me feel insecure. I used to feel like I had to stuff my bra,” said Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay also often uses lip injections and may have gotten a nose job.
10. Ashley Tisdale The most recent product of the Disney machine, 22-year old singer and actress Ashley Tisdale has been open about her rhinoplasty, which she says was for medical reasons to fix a deviated septum caused by a fractured nose when she was a teen (read Make Me Heal story on Ashley Tisdale’s nose job). The only problem is that following her corrective medical surgery, Tisdale reappeared without some of the imperfections of her former nose, leading some to speculate that she had a cosmetic nose job following the deviated septum correction. Tisdale’s bridge has narrowed and the tip is rounder, leaving room for speculation about a second surgery possibly to correct any undesirable outcomes of the first surgery. Tisdale adamantly denies having any work done that was not medically necessary, “It’s ridiculous. I’m not for plastic surgery. I’m not going to get another surgery. I can promise you that.”
Scarlett Johansson’s Nose Job Rumor: True or False?

With Scarlett Johansson planning to sue US Weekly for its just-released story speculating that she had a nose job, Make Me Heal thought it noteworthy to revisit its analysis of Scarlett’s nose that it published in a article on October 19 of this year on the Makemeheal.com website (read the full article on Scarlett Johansson’s Nose Job Rumor). The determination made by Make Me Heal has always been that Johansson’s nose is completely natural and plastic surgery-free.
Looking at photos of Scarlett from her teenage years to present, one commonality is a rather wide bridge complete with a bulbous tip. In her teen years, Scarlett’s nose seemed to overpower her face and appear wide in proportion to her face. As Scarlett grew older, her nose appeared to become more refined, the bridge slimmer, and the tip less bulbous. In her recent appearances, Scarlett’s nose has appeared narrower than before and the bridge more refined. This is the basis for the rumor supporting Johansson having gotten a nose job to refine and slim down the bridge.
But the photos are misleading, as a closer look at them shows that Scarlett’s nostrils remained the same and that her bulbous tip is still present, although it is well disguised by artful use of makeup. In some photos, the bridge is slim and in others the bridge is just as wide as before. The optical illusion at hand is both the result of Scarlett simply growing into her new nose as the shape of her face changes, with her nose seeming big when she is a teen and then appearing smaller as an adult. Additionally, Scarlett’s makeup artists have simply concealed some of the “bulbousity” of her tip and the wideness of the bridge, making her nose appear surgically enhanced.
For the above reasons, Scarlett Johansson’s nose is completely natural and she does not appear to have undergone any rhinoplasty procedure.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstrucive Surgeon of Beverly Hills, California spoke with Make Me Heal and also dismissed the nose job rumor, concluding that her nose is natural.
“From what I can tell from looking at photos of Ms. Johansson, it doesn’t look as if she has had a rhinoplasty,” says Nassif.
“Overall, her nose looks the same. Make-up applied specifically to certain places on the nose may make it look smaller. Her bridge appears mildly wide, her tip has a “cute” bulbousity to it, and her nostrils flare slightly appear to be the same as per when she was younger (minimal make up on photo) to now. Overall, her nose looks “cute” on her face.” Scarlett Johansson is justifiably angry about the wrong allegations about her natural beak and plans to sue US Weekly.
“I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel misled. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly,” says Johansson.
Johansson’s representative discredited the sources and photos used by US Weekly, claiming the photos were taken years apart in different lighting and makeup, which led to the false impression of a nose job.
In a statement made to OK! Magazine, the rep says “US Weekly’s cover story regarding Scarlett Johansson and its clear implication that she has had plastic or cosmetic surgery on her nose is an outrageous and defamatory fabrication lacking any conceivable basis or proof, despite vehement denials by Ms. Johansson prior to publication.”
“Not surprisingly, US magazine cannot provide the dates when she supposedly had this surgery, who performed the surgery, or what was supposedly done — all because there simply is no truth to the story. The publication made a pathetic attempt to validate its story by using two cover photos of Scarlett that were taken years apart with obviously different make-up and lighting, and then relying on an “expert’s opinion” (based solely on looking at the two photos) on what “might” have been done. It wasn’t,” reads the statement.
Interestingly, Johansson is a supporter of plastic surgery and has gone on record before to say that she would have plastic surgery when the aging process kicks in.

Is That A Nose Job On Scarlett Johansson?

First, she was crowned Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire and FHM Magazines. Then, she was voted to have the best pair of breasts in Hollywood by In Touch Magazine. Thereafter, she was honored with the award of having the second most-kissable lips, following Angelina Jolie. A British poll even found her to have the best butt from this corner of the world. With all these accolades, one would expect Scarlett Johansson to be an all-natural beauty who has not succumbed to plastic surgery. However, some gossip aficionados have been buzzing about a little plastic surgery secret that Scarlett may not want others to know about – a nose job. Make Me Heal decided to investigate Scarlett Johansson’s persistent nose rumor and make a call about whether it is real or otherwise engineered by a plastic surgeon. Looking at photos of Scarlett since the beginning of her vast career as a teenager, one cannot help but see a rather wide bridge complete with and bulbous nose. In her teen years, her nose seemed to overpower her face and appear wide in proportion to her face. As Scarlett aged, her nose appeared to become more refined, the bridge slimmer, and the tip less bulbous. In her recent red carpet appearances, Scarlett’s nose acquired sophistication and the bridge looked narrower than before. In light of this, one can easily make the case for a well executed nose job working behind the scenes.
However, a closer look shows that Scarlett’s nostrils remained the same and that her bulbous tip is still present, although it is well disguised by artful use of makeup. While some of us would love to attribute Scarlett’s beauty to the knife, it appears in this case that the nose is natural and that she has made a wise decision to keep it as it is. Her nose is distinctive and its quirks give her an edge and an air of a strong personality.

Scarlett Johansson Is Open To Plastic Surgery

While far from needing any plastic surgery in the near distant future, 21-year old actress Scarlett Johansson bluntly said that believes in plastic surgery and is open to the idea of going under the knife once the signs of aging appear. Citing that there’s no “fun” in looking like an “old hag” as a reason to consider surgery, Justin Timberlake’s rumored girlfriend took the road-less traveled by celebrities (many of whom are in the closet about their plastic surgery escapades) and admitted that plastic surgery would be in the cards for her should the need arise when the aging process kicks in. “Oh I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don’t want to be an old hag, there’s no fun in that,” says Johansson.
However, Johansson thinks that beauty comes from within and is a reflection of one’s self image and state of mind. “But I think if you’re comfortable with yourself then that’s sexy. Maybe people think that I look sexy because I feel sexy,” she added.
We find it brave and admirable that an actress as young as Johansson would not be hypocritical and dismiss plastic surgery because she is young and feels invincible before the aging process. Rock on.
