Pop singer Rihanna was recently rushed to the hospital after being attacked by her boyfriend singer Chris Brown and it is rumored she may need plastic surgery to recover. Previously she has been rumored to have had a nose job and to be using sking lightening creams to create a lighter skin tone.

21-year old singer Rihanna may not be good at picking boyfriends, but she seems to have picked a great plastic surgeon. It seems a nose job and breast implants may have helped augment the talented young lady’s career. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Rihanna’s plastic surgery).
Dr. Shafer says, “Rihanna looks great - fresh, bright and beautiful. There has been some speculation of rhinoplasty in the past, but I see no evidence of recent plastic surgery.”
Dr. Walden tells Make Me Heal, “After looking at photos from the beginning of her career, it is very likely Rhianna has had work done on her nose. Her nose now appears much slimmer and more projected with a thinner base.”
Dr. Aston reveals, “The very beautiful Rihanna has been subject of much debate in regards to her plastic surgery. I think that Rihanna has undergone both rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. Her nose looks much slimmer and narrower than it did when she first started her career. Rihanna’s result is perfection. Her breast augmentation was also very well done. Rumor has it that her management team went to great lengths to keep her surgery a secret by creating a bogus leg injury. Whatever the case may be, Rihanna is very talented and marketable and plastic surgery helped her achieve her goals.”
Rihanna’s Possible Plastic Surgery Recovery

A few weeks ago, the world was shocked when pop singer Rihanna was rushed to the hospital by emergency services after being attacked by her boyfriend singer Chris Brown. As more information about the beating was released, many began to wonder if the Barbados-born beauty would need plastic surgery to recover.
After viewing the picture taken by police of the results of 19-year old Chris Brown’s anger on 21-year old Rihanna’s face, Make Me Heal thought that she might need a lot of ice for a while, but that plastic surgery would hopefully be unnecessary. Our panel of plastic surgery experts, who felt that Rihanna needed a better boyfriend rather than a plastic surgeon, echoed our thoughts.
Dr. Jennifer Walden weighed in with Make Me Heal, saying, “What Rihanna needs is a new boyfriend and counseling to get out of an abusive relationship as soon as possible (if the allegations are true regarding Chris Brown). Thoughts and prayers are with her during what must be a difficult time.”
After seeing the initial trauma photo, Dr. Sherrell J Aston said, “Rihanna’s face needs time to recover and then one can evaluate. She may not need anything. It is too early to tell anything other than she needs a new boyfriend.”
According to plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia, “Rihanna looked a bit bruised but I didn’t see anything needing plastic surgery in the images I saw posted on TMZ.”
Other plastic surgeons noted that while the bruising and swelling might heal, the need for plastic surgery would come from possible broken bones.
Dr. Anthony Youn said, “Photos appear to show a good deal of trauma to her face, specifically bruising and swelling of her forehead, cheeks, eyes, and lips. Unless she has suffered lacerations or broken bones, the bruising and swelling should dissipate quickly over the next couple weeks. I would expect that she will return to her former state of beauty within a month or so, provided that none of her facial bones were fractured in the assault.”
Plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif told Make Me Heal, “Rihanna suffered multiple bruises and abrasions, as well as a possible trauma to her nose and laceration to her lip. All in all, she was beaten up pretty bad.”
Shortly after the incident, Rihanna released the following statement through her publicist:
“At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”
Since the first picture of Rihanna’s bruised face surfaced on the popular gossip site, TMZ, she has since been seen recovering in Mexico, looking only slightly the worse for the wear.
The popular couple has drawn comparisons to another famous singing duet with a history of violence, Ike and Tina Turner (See Make Me Heal’s story on Tina Turner’s plastic surgery).
Despite many wishing that Rihanna would get out from the heavy hand of Chris, reports have surfaced that couple are once again together and spending time in one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s homes, on Miami Beach’s Star Island.
In the past, Make Heal has reported on the singer’s possible plastic surgery, as some photos seem to indicate that Rihanna had a nose job in her past (See Make Me Heal’s story on Rihanna’s plastic surgery).
Make Me Heal is happy to see that Rihanna’s body is recovering and hopes she makes the right decision in regard to her love life.
Does Rihanna Have A Plastic Surgery Groove?

Busting out on stage at the MTV Film Awards on Sunday in a Dominatrix-inspired black outfit and pink umbrella, Rihanna wowed the audience with her performance of “Umbrella”. The performance only confirmed Rihanna reign as the new darling of the R&B world. Being at the center of attention, Rihanna is frequently in the middle of hotly contested plastic surgery rumors about whether or not the perfect-looker is real or a little plastic. In light of Rihanna’s sometimes all-too perfect look, complete with perfect face and body, some would obviously jump to the conclusion that she must have had some assistance from the knife along the way.
The most credible Rihanna plastic surgery rumor is that she had a nose job. Pictures of the star do show that the singer used to have a wider nose, whereas now the nose appears slimmer, more projected, and the bridge and tip are narrower now than in older pictures of Rihanna. Being that Rihanna’s look has improved dramatically in the last two years, a nose job is clearly a strong possibility.
A closer look at Rihanna’s nose over the last two years, however, shows that her nose is narrow and sculpted in some recent photos, but then mysteriously returns to being wider again in photos taking around the same time. This suggests that what is at hand here is probably clever use of makeup, which apparently Rihanna is very fond of because of her having grown around a mother who was very makeup-savvy.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn also went through the same line of reasoning about Rihanna’s nose job likely being just excellent makeup skill. Speaking to Make Me Heal, Dr. Youn says “The first ‘after’ photo looks like her nose is a bit thinner and more projecting. It is possible that lighting may be the cause, but not obvious. The second ‘after’ photo looks pretty similar to the before photos. Difficult to tell, but most likely there is no surgery there.” For these reason, it’s hard to conclude that a nose job is at work here.
The second rumor about Rihanna has less to do with enhancement of her physical features, but more to do with the seeming change in her skin tone which is lighter now than a few years ago when it was more brown. It is quite possible that Rihanna is using skin lightening creams and bleaching agents to lighten her skin tone and give her a more universal look, or again is using makeup to brighten her complexion. It should be noted that Rihanna has had a skin acne problem that seems to be clearing up now.
Whatever Rihanna is doing, keep on doing it because the fans are going crazy for her.
