Ricci, Christina
From Make Me Heal
Christina Ricci, one of Hollywood's stars since she was only 9 years old, has not yet had plastic surgery but has said that she may go under the knife in the future. She has said, "(I’d have surgery) if I aged in a really unfortunate manner. Or something happened, like the skin on my knee dropped. I don’t mind having dental work or any surgery, because I like the pills they give you."

In the ever more obsessed with appearance land of Hollywood, not all young actresses have had cosmetic procedures — yet. But that doesn’t mean they won’t. Make Me Heal takes a look at two popular young actresses as they consider the future of their faces.
British beauty and love interest on ABC’s Pushing Daisies hasn’t had plastic surgery yet, but at 31-years old can see it in her future. In fact, she can reportedly see it in the rearview mirror of her car, “But show me a woman in her 30s who, when she’s in her car and stuck at traffic lights doesn’t look in the mirror, then pull her face back with her palms and think, ‘Does that look better?’” However, the actress does acknowledge that, “A bit of maintenance here and there is fine, but you want to grow older a little gracefully.” So far, Make Me Heal thinks Anna Friel is doing fine on her own, but won’t think any less of her acting abilities when she does go in for plastic surgery.
Although she’s not yet 30, Christina Ricci has been a Hollywood habit since childhood. And it’s no wonder that she’s willing to go under the knife like her acting compatriots. As she says, “(I’d have surgery) if I aged in a really unfortunate manner. Or something happened, like the skin on my knee dropped. I don’t mind having dental work or any surgery, because I like the pills they give you.” For Ricci, it seems to be just as much about the pain relievers as it is about maintaining her recognizable features.
Although both actresses are still young enough to not have any drastic signs of aging, Make Me Heal suspects that lines around the eyes and forehead are probably going to start forming or are already in the process of doing so, which can be treated with injectable fillers like Botox or Restylane and Juvederm. Moreover, laser skin treatments such as Fraxel can keep the skin looking young and refreshed.
Make Me Heal hopes that with the open admissions of these popular actresses, some of the stigma associated with plastic surgery is lessened even more.
