There are many medications and herbal treatments to avoid pre-surgery and sometimes post-surgery. Aspirin and Aspirin products should be avoided 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks post as they are anticoagulants which could cause bleeding problems. Tylenol (Acetaminophen) is acceptable. Herbal medications and diet aids, unless approved by your physician, should also be avoided as they can interfere with anesthesia.
