breast implants. In fact, McDougal is one of the few playmates that has publicly acknowledged having breast implants to improve the look of her figure. Since becoming Playmate of the Year, McDougal has become an advocate of breast cancer awareness, trying to use her fame to spread knowledge and awareness of breast cancer. McDougal's family has a history of breast cancer.
Karen McDougal is best known for her appearances in Playboy magazine as Playmate of the Month for December 1997 and Playmate of the Year of 1998. Though Karen's career has broadened to encompass appearances in a wide variety of mainstream media including print media, television and movies with mixed success as well.
