Macpherson, Elle
From Make Me Heal
Actress and model Elle Macpherson has had a lip augmentation. However, Macpherson has mentioned never wanting to get plastic surgery done: "It hasn't occurred to me to intervene with the course of nature to date. I have a strong aversion to putting anything artificial inside my body. I don't even take aspirin."Macpherson is one of the models who own the Fashion Cafe in New York City, along with Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell. Macpherson was one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" in 1995 and also aas ranked #7 in Channel 5's "World's greatest supermodel."
Nicknamed as "The Body," 45 year old Macpherson's breasts are still perfectly rounded indicating that she may have had a breast augmentation to enlarge her C cup breasts to a D cup. Her skin remains free from wrinkles and fine lines indicating that she may have used dermal fillers, like Botox, Restylane, and Juvederm to fill out any unsightly wrinkles that have cropped up over the years.
Is Plastic Surgery Behind Elle Macpherson’s Body?

At 45 years old, Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson is still holding true to her nickname, “The Body.”
When Make Me Heal learned that Elle Macpherson’s breasts have gone from a C-cup to a D-cup during her long modeling career, we wondered if that was really a natural spurt or the work of a clever plastic surgeon. Based on pictures of Elle at a photo shoot in London, displaying perfectly round uplifted cleavage, we’re thinking plastic surgery helped Elle maintain her beautiful bosom, especially after giving birth to two children. Elle “The Body” Macpherson wouldn’t be the only supermodel mom to give her bust a boost, as supermodel Heidi Klum is also rumored to have had a breast augmentation to maintain the volume of her breasts (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Klum’s breast augmentation).
While Elle’s body may well be the work of continuous attention to diet and exercise, Make Me Heal thinks that the healthy amount of cleavage Elle is squeezing together for her latest photo spread is due to a breast augmentation and/or a possible breast lift. While it is hard to pinpoint when Elle may have had her original breast implants put in (although it is likely during her alleged “weight gain” period in the mid 90’s that she used as an excuse to cover up her breast augmentation procedure), she most likely had her implants adjusted and lifted after giving birth.
Many supermodels get breast implants to fill out the lingerie and bikinis they often model, including Victoria’s Secret Angels, Giselle Bundchen and Selita Ebanks. (See Make Me Heal’s stories on Giselle’s plastic surgery and Selita’s breast augmentation).
In the past, Elle has attributed her flawlessly tanned and wrinkle-free skin to now cliché answer of using luxury skincare and self-tanning products as well as to drinking a lot of water. But now that the model has reached middle age, Make Me Heal suspects that Elle’s clear complexion is likely also aided by non-invasive laser cosmetic treatments like Fraxel, Affirm, or Active Fx as well as potential chemical peels to help refresh and renew her skin. Elle also doesn’t appear to have any wrinkles or fine lines. While living in Britain and staying out of the hot Australian sun can help, it is unlikely that Elle has completely avoided wrinkles by living this lifestyle. It is much more likely that Elle has used dermal fillers, like Botox, Restylane, and Juvederm to fill out any unsightly wrinkles that have cropped up over the years.
Elle looks amazing by all accounts and the cosmetic surgery she has had is subtle and has not in any way detracted from her natural beauty. Make Me Heal thinks that as Elle ages, she will continue to make small improvements, both surgical and non, to maintain her reputation as “The Body.”
