Singer Janet Jackson is rumored to have had a breast augmentation. According to Dr. Anthony Youn, "She has lost a lot of weight and looks great, but the breasts look a bit round for my taste. It appears that she has breast implants which are above the muscle, as implants which are above the muscle move together like that and show more roundness than implants under the muscle. It is also possible she has a capsular contracture, which is a condition where scar tissue builds up around the implants, causing them to be round and hard. It is possible that her weight loss has decreased so much of her body fat percentage, that her breasts are mostly skin and implant now."

Recently, Janet's trip to the Cedar's Sinai hospital has caused much speculation about the possibility of liposuction.

Did Janet Jackson Rush To The Hospital For Liposuction?

The entire Jackson clan is notorious for its frequent forays to the plastic surgeon’s office. So when Janet Jackson was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, the rumors started flowing that Miss Jackson was going in for another nip here or tuck there, not the flu symptoms her camp reported.

Since Janet followed her older siblings into the music industry, she has also undergone many physical transformations. Many of these changes seem to be weight related as she has yo-yoed from fat to fit in the past few years. But how much of the weight gain and loss is from natural diet and exercise and how much is due to plastic surgery and non-surgical weight loss procedures. The singer and dancer has never admitted to having had any work done and as plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn points out to Make Me Heal, “Janet’s weight appears to yo-yo considerably these last few years, and it makes speculating plastic surgery on her very difficult. I would surmise that, while she appears to have had a breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and possible liposuction in the past, it is difficult to determine whether she has had anything done more recently.”

It is safe to assume that the knife-friendly singer might have dabbled in a liposuction to achieve her dramatic weight loss, perhaps combining it with dieting and exercise and using liposuction to get rid of stubborn deposits of fat that do not respond to dieting and exercise or to put tone and put finishing touches on her body. After all, Janet is almost 42 and her body may not be as resilient to weight loss as it was a decade ago.

Janet Jackson has long been known for showing off her muscular abdominal muscles, but MakeMeHeal.com has noted that in recent appearances, that while Janet has been wearing very form-fitting attire, she has not been baring her belly, making the need for a lipo touch-up all the more reasonable.

The entertainer could be undergoing any one of a number of fat-reducing procedures including:

Smartlipo, which is ideal for treating small areas of the face, chin, neck, arms, breasts (gynecomastia), thighs, and areas of loose and flabby skin, SmartLipo melts away fat using a high powered laser. A very small cannula (tube) that is approximately 1.0-2.0 millimeters in diameter contains a laser fiber that is inserted into the skin. The cannula is moved back and forth, delivering the laser’s energy to the fat cells, causing them to rupture and easily drain away. As the laser tip comes in contact with the fat cells, the tip literally melts the fat. The laser energy also interacts with the dermis and results in collagen shrinkage – meaning it creates a desirable tightening effect on the area.

Lipodissolve (also know as Lipolysis, Lipotherapy, Lipo-dissolve, Lipostabil, ThinJection, and Flab Jab), is a controversial procedure in which drug mixtures are injected into patients to destroy fat cells, which then leave the body along with normal waste removal. The drug mixtures used in the procedure, which have yet to be approved by the FDA, are delivered through multiple microinjections into subcutaneous fat. These injections take place over one to three treatment sessions, which are each four to six weeks apart.

If lipo is on Miss Jackson’s new agenda, be on the lookout for telltale signs of surgery, such as lipo scars, potential unevenness, or lumpiness.

Whatever the reasons for Janet’s hospital visit, Make Me Heal wishes the talented entertainer a speedy recovery.
