It gives you all the things you need to be part of the action. You photograph better, and looks are a key part of being an entertainer, so I felt it was something I had to do. The ever-sexy frontwoman of Blondie Debbie Harry will be celebrating her 62nd birthday this Saturday, July 1. The punk diva has managed to keep up her sex appeal and coolness factor for the last four decades and it seems that plastic surgery has been a prime vehicle for this success.

Debbie Harry has candidly admitted that she had cosmetic surgery for “business reasons” and says that getting a facelift has helped give her career longevity.

“Yeah, I had a facelift years ago. Why not? It gives you all the things you need to be part of the action. I don’t feel like hiding myself away.”

The facelift that Debbie had is well executed, as the results are natural and give Harry an appearance of someone fifteen younger than her true age. The facelift is responsible for Harry’s lack of sagging skin and jowling around the jawline, her taut neck, and fresh complexion. It appears that Debbie Harry also had an eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), as she has no traces of aging around her eyes, such as under-eye bags or sagging skin over her lids. It is also possible that Debbie also had an endoscopic browlift, which explains her youthful forehead. Additionally, Debbie’s flawless and wrinkle-free skin points to the likely use of dermal fillers such as Botox, Juvederm, and Restylane to erase fine lines and wrinkles.

Harry has always been open about her cosmetic surgery and has always been proud of her decision to go under the knife.
