Singer and actress Hilary Duff, is rumored to have had a nose job, also known as a rhinoplasty. Duff's previous nose was much more bulbous and full, resulting in a younger, fluffier looking face, while the new nose helps to slim things out and give her a more refined look. Duff has also had veneers to replace her slightly stained smile with a broader whiter one. Duff is also rumored to have had breast implants as recent photos show a round, shelf-like projection that is typical of breast implanted chests with a full cup size increase. Plastic surgeon Anthony Youn says, "It is definitely possible she may have had a breast augmentation. The edges of her breast look very defined, which can be a sign of breast implants. If they are implants, they are not too big and tastefully done."

It seems like every few weeks there’s more evidence that former pre-teen queen Hilary Duff and newly grown-up movie star has had a breast augmentation. With Hilary’s breast looking bigger and bigger by the month, some are wondering if the star has undergone multiple breast augmentations to achieve her latest breast size. Make Me Heal takes a look at the latest evidence and weighs in.
Hilary’s body has lost the baby fat of her Lizzie Macguire TV show days, enabling the 20-year old to act in grown-up movies like her recent War, Inc. (Make Me Heal did a separate story about the Plastic Surgery of War, Inc’s cast.)
Hilary’s perfectly round breasts are often extraordinarily lifted and separated, which are generally indications of breast implants, but they also can appear somewhat squished, which is more likely to happen with natural breasts and a push-up bra. Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told Make Me Heal that, “It is definitely possible she may have had a breast augmentation. The edges of her breast look very defined, which can be a sign of breast implants. If they are implants, they are not too big and tastefully done.”
If she has gotten breast implants, then it wouldn’t her first time under knife, as she is rumored to have gotten a rhinoplasty (nose job) to slim down her nose and give it a more refined appearance. She also had veneers put on her teeth for the same effect. However, her breasts seem to grow higher, rounder and bigger, especially for red carpet events.
Make Me Heal thinks that if Hilary has had a breast augmentation, she has had only one surgery and not multiple breast augmentations as some rumors suggest. Hilary’s “extra boosts” in recent photos are the results of breast enhancing aids, like a push-up bra, boob tape, and chicken cutlets (bra pad inserts). Often when celebrities are photographed with great size differences, it is the work of such devices, rather than multiple breast augmentation procedures.
Whether or not Hilary is dabbling in more plastic surgery, Make Me Heal looks forward to her move away from the kid-comedies and into more age appropriate roles.
A Look At War, Inc’s Stars And Their Plastic Surgery

Political satire War, Inc. just got released last week and the all-star cast got Make Me Heal wondering about which stars have had work done.
Veteran brother and sister actors, John, 41, and Joan Cusack, 44, both appear in the film, looking tired and older and more in need in of sprucing up than having had work done, although John’s nose does look slightly more refined than it did in his youth, signaling a possible nose job.
According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California, “Joan and John Cusack both look older, especially around the eyes. John now has bags around his lower eyes. It doesn’t look like they have had work done.” But plastic surgeon John Di Saia detects a nose job on John.
To combat the aging appearance around the eyes, the Cusacks may want to explore eyelid surgery, known as blepharoplasty, which can be performed on both the upper and lower lids to lose the bags and loose skin that makes eyes appear tired and old.
43-year old actress Marisa Tomei also appears in the film and it doesn’t look like she’s had any plastic surgery. She most likely has an extensive skincare regimen and may also indulge in non-surgical facial procedures like Thermage or laser treatments like Fraxel or ActiveFx. She may also use injections such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Botox which help get rid of fine lines and wrinkles that add to an aged appearance.
At 20, Hillary Duff is the youngest member of the War, Inc cast by decades. Hillary famously had her teeth capped with veneers that many thought were too large and she may have had a nose job to make her look older and more refined. Whether or not the young starlet has made any changes to her appearance, Make Me Heal agrees with Dr. Nassif when he says, “Hillary Duff looks good.”
The cast of War, Inc. is rounded out by veteran actors Ben Kingsley and Dan Ackroyd who don’t appear to have had any work done to improve their appearances.

Back in the plastic surgery gossip scene again, Hilary Duff is raising a few brows after being spotted unusually busty and beautiful at the City of Hope’s 2007 Spirit of Life dinner on September 28. With breast implants almost being a prerequisite in Hollywood, Duff giving into the trend is not so far off from a possibility.
At the dinner event last week, Duff’s breasts oozed out of her strapless navy blue gown, revealing a round, shelf-like projection that is typical of breast implanted chests. When compared to earlier photos, it appears that the 20 year old singer/actress’s breasts grew by a full cup size. While other gossip mongers have been quick to assume that this was achieved with breast implants, a closer look at other recent photos do not lead to such an easy conclusion. This is because other photos of Duff before the event do not show her in this rare endowed form. A more reasonable explanation for her seemingly bigger bust is a very complimentary push-up bra as her arsenal of choice for achieving this boob lift effect.
This is not the first time that a celebrity has been falsely accused of having breast implants, when in fact a push-up bra, bra tape, and chicken cutlets (bra pad inserts) were at work. Despite the lower probability of Duff having breast implants, the unnaturally high projection of her breasts in the City of Hope dinner photo does keep the possibility of breast implants open. Plastic surgeon Anthony Youn raised this possibility, telling Make Me Heal:

Having doused into the plastic surgery pool before, it’s no wonder Duff is being accused of giving it another whirl. Her first account was a nose job in which the results did in fact provide the starlet with a satisfactory appeal. Her previous nose was much more bulbous and full, resulting in a younger, fluffier looking face, while the new nose helps to slim things out and give her a more refined look. With nose jobs being the number one choice of plastic surgery among stars, Duff couldn’t be left out. Another cosmetic avenue she has decided to try is veneers. The star’s once smaller and slightly stained smile is replaced with a broader whiter one. Ever since her dental makeover, Duff has not hesitated to show off her chompers in all of her interviews. She reportedly had her teeth redone after a mishap on stage with her microphone caused some chipping of her front tooth.
Along with Duff’s plastic surgery hype, many have commented on the fifteen pound shrinkage in her weight since the start of her career. Duff has said in interviews, “I feel pressure to be thin, the media always says I’m either too fat or too thin.” She goes on to state how “judgmental” and “mean” it is to say such things.
It’s not too difficult to see that beauty is essential in Hollywood and at times maintaining it is only accessible through plastic surgery. The verdict is out whether or not Ms. Duff has once again chose the knife as her means of sanctuary in the ever-competitive world of Hollywood. More photos of Duff’s breasts carousing about Hollywood will be needed to form a substantive conclusion about whether she has implants.
