Marcia Cross is an American television actress best known for her villainous role of Dr. Kimberly Shaw on Fox's Melrose Place as well as Bree Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives where she co-stars with Eva Longoria, Nicollette Sheridan, and Teri Hatcher. Cross is the former wife of the late actor Richard Jordan who died from a brain tumor in 1993. Cross has had possible Botox injections on her forehead, and around the lips. Marcia's forehead does not show the presence of lines or wrinkles, which is easily solved by filler injections. Also, it looks like she has had an eye lift as there are no creases or crow's feet around her eyes. Cross seems to keep her skin healthy.

Marcia Cross knows a thing or two about looking camera ready, despite staying away from cameras since the end of Desperate Housewives. The stunning red head doesn’t admit to plastic surgery, but she doesn’t discount it either.
Recently turned 50 Marcia Cross has a flawless complexion envied by women half her age. Makemeheal.com believes Botox to be behind Marcia’s creamy smooth skin (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Marcia Cross’ Botox), although the actress has never confirmed it.
Marcia Cross' Botoxification
With twins toddlers and a full-time gig on the TV series Desperate Housewives, you’d expect Marcia Cross to look tired, not preternaturally relaxed. But her relaxed expression may not be a result of thinking zen, but rather a result of plastic surgery.
Marcia looks great for a woman of 47, and clearly practices great skincare and stays clear of the sun to maintain her perfect complexion. But for a while Make Me Heal has suspected Marcia of going under the needle at the very least, and possibly even the knife, to stay looking fresh and young. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Marcia Cross’ plastic surgery).
The new season of Desperate Housewives just began and Marcia as perfect housewife Bree Hodge is looking more perfect than ever, likely a result of injectables like Botox around her eyes and forehead and possible fillers like Juvederm or Restylane around her mouth and in her lips.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Marcia Cross looks great. It appears she may have had some Botox as her face is completely line free. I do not see evidence of other work. She is a naturally beautiful woman and I would not change a thing. ”
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “Marcia Cross is the poster child for Botox. She is a beautiful woman, but at times she can look somewhat “frozen”, especially in her forehead and glabella areas. It is apparent that skin care is extremely important to the television star. Anytime she is photographed outdoors she always covers her skin in long sleeves and large hats. Ms. Cross has said in interviews that she keeps her skin young and flawless by staying out of the sun’s harmful rays. I would agree with that, but think injectables, Botox, and a good skin care regimen also help her achieve the “flawless” look.”
Marcia’s Botoxed look isn’t bad, even if it is a bit frozen and while her lips may be plumped, she is not nearing the dreaded “trout pout” status of some of her peers.
New York plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Marcia Cross definitely looks Botoxed. She also appears to have a lip plumper. Neither one is bad - she looks nice.”
Make Me Heal looks forward to the new Desperate Housewives season and what mischief the women of Wisteria Lane get into this year.
Desperate Housewife Plastic Surgery
Desperate Housewives actress Marcia Cross was not at the wedding. What was that all about? Yes, the little bit of info that caused an equally amount of drama was the absence of Eva’s friend and co-star Marcia Cross. The rumor mill has been spinning yarns again. This time it was about an alleged dispute between Eva and Marcia, which supposedly has been happening continuously on and off the set of the hit show. Cross’s absence from the ceremony only added fuel to the fire, exacerbating the rumors. However, the guests explained it away with the reasoning that Cross didn’t show because she only just gave birth to twins a mere four months ago. Hopefully she didn’t cave in to peer pressure and get another set of twins somewhere else…
Though for now we’ll put those speculations on the back burner, we absolutely cannot ignore speculations about what surgeries she has had on her face, even if no one else has really caught on. It looks like Cross has had possible Botox injections on her forehead, and around the lips. Marcia’s forehead does not show the presence of lines or wrinkles, which is easily solved by filler injections. As there is no such thing as a magic eraser marker, and nearly impossible for someone at age 45 to have neither lines nor wrinkles, we can only speculate that she wishes to take a dive into the fountain of youth with Botox. Also, it looks like she has had an eye lift as there are no creases, under eye bags, excess skin on her lids, or crow’s feet around her eyes. Cross seems to keep her skin healthy, as it looks practically flawless. She looks great for someone in her mid-40’s. Although it may be entirely possible, it is truly hard to believe that she is aging naturally, with no cosmetic enhancement agents to help her retard the aging process.
