Simpson, Ashlee
From Make Me Heal
Ashlee Simpson had a nose job (rhinoplasty) and is also rumored to have had a number of other facial procedures, including lip plumping, an endoscopic brow lift and a chin reduction (genioplasty),. It is also rumored that she is interested in getting buttock implants (click here for story on Ashlee Simpson's Buttock Augmentation interest). Simpson has also been recently speculated to have had botox injections. According to Dr. Jennifer Levine, "Simpson’s lack of expression and absence of creases when the singer smiles is a tell-tale sign of Botox use." Recent photos of Ashlee Simpson show an arch in her eyebrows, another indication of Botox. Ashlee Simpson may be competing with her sister Jessica Simpson by getting all these procedures done.
Simpson reportedly "giggled and told the Associated Press: 'Everybody's already saying it, so I just don't talk about it. I'm like, okay, whatever. It doesn't bother me,'" as she commented on her nose job. The singer was reported to have had an operation to remove a bump from her nose in April of 2006. It was just after Simpson returned from Sydney, Australia, where she hosted the MTV Australian Video Music Awards.

The big news in the celebrity world, at least until Beyonce and Jay-Z come clean about their wedding (read the full story on Plastic Surgery at Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Wedding), is that pop-punk couple Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz is now engaged. The question is whether this wedding engagement will lead to more impending plastic surgery for Ashlee Simpson in anticipation of her big day.
In the past, Make Me Heal has given details on Ashlee’s various plastic surgeries, including a nose job, Botox, and possible other cosmetic procedures including lip plumping, an endoscopic brow lift and a chin reduction (read the full story on Ashlee Simpson’s Nose Job, Ashlee Simpson’s Botox Injections). The 23-year old singer, and sometimes actress, has also been rumored to have expressed interest in other procedures, including buttock implants.
Although her new fiancé, Fall Out Boy’s 28-year old Pete Wentz, seems to be as yet untouched by plastic surgery, Make Me Heal has reported in the past that Pete likes Ashlee’s new nose so much he has considered plastic surgery for himself (read the full story on Peter Wentz’s Nose Job).
Given Ashlee’s proclivity for changing her appearance, Make Me Heal wonders what plastic surgery she’ll undergo for her walk down the aisle, not to mention what hair color she’ll be sporting.
Ashlee Simpson: Youngest Person To Use Botox Injections
The following article is reprinted from Make Me Heal 's Celebrity Plastic Surgery News. The article, along with photos can be found at the following link: Ashlee Simpson: Youngest Person To Use Botox Injections
Ashlee Simpson may be the youngest person on the planet using Botox, at least according to what one magazine says. The 23-year old singer has been a poster child for plastic surgery ever since going under the knife for rhinoplasty. Now, some insiders are speculating that Ashlee is using Botox injections as frequently as once a month to achieve her “wide-eyed”, wrinkle-free look.
According to plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Levine, Simpson’s lack of expression and absence of creases when the singer smiles is a tell-tale sign of Botox use.
“When someone is smiling, certainly when they are smiling genuinely, you would expect a slight crinkle around the eyes, which I don’t see,” says Dr. Levine. “So I would have to expect that she has [Ashlee Simpson] had some Botox to that area.“
Additionally, the arch in Ashlee’s eyebrows has also been questioned as being the result of Botox. Botox can be injected into the forehead and between the eyebrows to remove wrinkles there and achieve overly arched eybrows.
In Touch magazine claims that Simpson has been going almost every month to Dr. Raj Kanodia, the celebrity plastic surgeon who performed Ashlee’s nose job (as well as the famous noses of Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston), in order to inject botox into her forehead and around her eyes.
Predictably, Ashlee Simpson’s representative denied the allegations, claiming that Ashlee’s wide eyes and arched eyebrows were non-surgically achieved by expert makeup artists.
"Ashlee has never had Botox in her life," the rep said in a prepared written statement. "She credits her eyebrows to her makeup artist who is a whiz with the tweezer."
Whether the Botox rumor started by In Touch is true cannot be confirmed, as without strong before and after photos it is hard to believe that such a young person would resort to Botox injections. For the most part, Botox injections are done patients as young as late twenties. But being that Ashlee Simpson is the person in the center of this rumor, one cannot completely dismiss the possibility of this story being true.
Earlier this year, Ashlee opened up about her plastic surgery transformation and spoke about how she did not hate her looks and was not insecure about herself before going under the knife, but that she had her nose job and other facial improvement cosmetic procedures for herself and for no one else (read Ashlee’s Plastic Surgery Story). Ashlee Simpson also defended people who have plastic surgery and believes it is a personal choice that should be undertaken only for yourself and not in reaction to pressure from others.
"I loved how I looked. I’m not an insecure person, nor was I before," Simpson said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. "It’s a personal choice. I believe if somebody chooses to do plastic surgery it [should be] for yourself, not for anyone else."
With the help of the knife, Jessica Simpson’s sister Ashlee has transformed from a punky, rugged looking teen to a sophisticated Hollywood young damsel.
When asked about the media having made her into a target, Ashlee Simpson simply that at the end of the day she is a happy person and does not pay attention to the negative criticism.
"I’m a happy person, and I’m happy with my looks. Everybody always has an opinion. One minute they’ll love you; one minute they’ll hate you. When you go home to sleep at night [the important thing] is to feel good about yourself. And I do."
Ashlee Simpson Didn’t Have Plastic Surgery Because She Hated Herself

Ashlee Simpson has become the new ambassador of plastic surgery. In a just-released interview, Ashlee reveals that she did not hate her looks and was not insecure about herself before having plastic surgery, but that she had her nose job and other facial improvement cosmetic procedures for herself and for no one else (read Ashlee’s Plastic Surgery Story). Ashlee Simpson is also amused about the recent theories that have circulated about her allegedly trying to steal the thunder from under her sister Jessica Simpson and look more like her.
“Of course, I look like her. She’s my sister,” Ashlee says. “It’s like, God, please! We think it’s quite funny.”
Some fans have been turned off by her plastic surgery, saying that Simpson’s unique features have been lost to a standardized Hollywood look. Ashlee Simpson assures her fans that she has not changed throughout all her transformations, saying that she is the same person. “Through all my changes, I’m still the same person. My heart has not changed.”
We think we had a change of heart about Ashlee Simpson, who just earned our respect with this interview. Ashlee’s position on plastic surgery and her handling of her experience is mature, completely legitimate, sincere, and dare we say inspiring.
Could Jessica Simpson's Latest Botox be a Result of Jealousy of Ashlee Simpson's Success? A closer look at the Simpson Sisters
The following article is reprinted from Make Me Heal 's Celebrity Plastic Surgery News. The article, along with photos can be found at the following link: Could Jessica Simpson's Latest Botox be a Result of Jealousy of Ashlee Simpson's Success? A closer look at the Simpson Sisters.
It is no secret that Jessica Simpson’s career has had its ups and downs. Splitting with long-time boyfriend turned husband Nick Lachey after a three-year marriage hasn’t made it any easier for this pop princess turned actress. She’s still belting out tunes of late, especially from her newest album ‘A Public Affair.’ When has her life not been public?
From being jealous of the BS and CA climbing to the top of the music charts to trying to keep her promise to her father to remain chaste until marriage, Jessica has always suffered a lot of comments about her appearance. She endorsed hair products to skin products, and in addition, no one can seem to keep quiet about her boobs. Although she stated that her boobs are real size D cups due to genetics, that didn’t stop the press from suspecting breast augmentation. And recently with all the hubbub of her dating John Mayer, she seems to be following his music a little too closely, including his hit single, “Your Body is a Wonderland.”New York City surgeon Geoffrey W. Tobias believes she has had Botox injections to lift her upper lids, giving her a younger look. It seems as though she had a thinning of the nose as well. Now why would a girl who is not even 30 want all this?! Well, some sisterly influence might be the case, as both Jessica and Ashlee Simpson signed up for more injections with Restylane. NYC plastic surgeon Zachary Gerut pointed out, "Her chin has some ripples, which can be caused by inappropriate Botox or an implant that didn't heal well -- not necessarily the doctor's fault." According to eCanadaNow, “Jessica Simpson has had a nose job, chin job, lip job, cheek job and an eye job.” This information they took from US Weekly. When she was interviewed by Jay Leno back in 2006, she said, "Not Botox -- I’m too young to do Botox! I'm only 26! Who needs Botox at 26? That's some hard partying!" During the same interview, she talked about her lips: "I did Restalyne- I was going through an emotional time and I thought maybe if my lips were bigger people would think it was sexy. It only stays for four months. I looked like a blowfish! I looked so goofy! I prayed every night, 'Please let them go down!' But where does it go? I know I have the butt chin. I wonder if it made my butt chin bigger? Where did it go?"…Its gone now- these are my lips! I have good lips. I don't know why I did it. I was going through a hard time- I was going through a divorce!"Jessica has also gotten a breast lift, and admits to planning on more surgery for her breasts sometime in the future, especially if they start to sag. That is very likely, considering her breasts are huge. Now, if only we can get her sister to admit to some things as well, life would be good.It is definitely certain that Ashlee’s song “Shadow” off her debut album ‘Autobiography’ is all about her trying to live in her sister’s shadow. And now that she is so successful, she is doing better and Jessica’s jealous. She, along with her sister, felt the pressure to stop looking like the “ugly duckling” and had some rhinoplasty done, whether she admitted to it or not. Her nose is shaved down. Turns out it was for the better as her career started to glide to new heights while Jessica was still trying to pick up the pieces after her break-up with Nick Lachey. On another note, Ashlee tries to warn her fans about the dangers of jumping into plastic surgery: “If people want to get surgery, it’s a personal thing. But it’s not something anyone should rush into. Once it’s done, it’s done.” Jessica feels that some things she’s done to her face didn’t turn out so well and isn’t completely satisfied with her new look. She felt that her new lips looked fake.Well, consider yourself warned. No matter what the Simpson sisters do, they will always be under the eye of the public. They will always feel that pressure to look good. Good thing Jessica still sings like an angel and Ashlee’s career is flying. Sisters will be sisters.
